Red Cross delegation visits Algeria

A delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross is currently visiting Algeria to learn the conditions of prisons and communications with political prisoners, important figures and the concerned human rights movements in Algeria.
The Algerian newspaper El-Youm said yesterday, quoting informed sources, that, "This visit was agreed upon since last September for visiting the Algerian prisoners especially members of the prohibited Islamic Salvation Front."
