Sit-in in Damascus in solidarity with Hamas

Well-informed sources in Damascus said on Tuesday that the follow-up committee of the opposition Palestinian National Congress will call for a sit-in tomorrow near the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Arab League office in Damascus in solidarity with the Hamas resistance movement.
The sources explained that this call is made at a time when several members of the committee are visiting the Arab ambassadors in Damascus in order to encourage the Arab states to exert mediation efforts between Hamas and Jordan to end the crisis which resulted from the arrest of leaders of the movement and closure of its offices in Jordan.
