Algerian prime minister confers with South Korean trade minister

Algerian Prime Minister Smail Hamdani received South Korean Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Chung Tok-ku on Tuesday in Algiers and discussed with him means and ways of fostering cooperation and exchange in the economic and commercial areas and boosting investments and partnerships.
Hamdani and the Korean minister underlined the importance of the Korean - Algerian council, which held its first session at the end of last month in strengthening cooperation and achieving joint projects between industrialists and economists.
Meanwhile, Algerian Finance Minister Abdelkrim Harchaoui and the Korean trade minister on Tuesday signed an agreement on protecting investment which will give new impetus to investment, partnership and economic exchange between the two countries.
