Jordan decides to postpone visit of Israeli trade minister to Amman indefinitely
Jordan-Israel, Politics, 10/12/1999
Jordan decided yesterday to postpone the scheduled visit of Israeli Minister of Trade and Industry Ran Cohen to Amman tomorrow in protest of the harassment to which a group of the Jordanian parliamentarians was exposed during their visit to Hebron a few days ago. Official Jordanian sources said, "The visit was postponed to an indefinite date." Jordan presented a formal protest to Israel on Sunday, in which it asked the Israeli authorities to investigate the incident.
