Egypt supports Morocco's campaign to host 2006 World Cup

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa discussed during his meeting yesterday with Moroccan Minister of Youth and Sports Ahmed Moussaoui, who is currently visiting Cairo, Morocco's candidacy to host the World Cup for soccer for the year 2006, Moussaoui said after the meeting. Moussaoui expressed his happiness over Egypt's support for this Moroccan Arab candidacy.
He added that Egypt supports Morocco's candidacy in all the international circles, saying that he also discussed with Moussa in general the strategy that must be taken by the Arab world in field of youth and sports, as sport is no longer considered mere games, but competitions that play a role on the international level.
