European foreign ministers to discuss Middle East peace

The Foreign ministers of the European Union are due to meet today in Luxembourg to discuss several key issues, first and foremost being the Middle East peace process.
News reports in Brussels said the EU foreign ministers will stress in this meeting their backing for the Middle East peace process in the light of the visits carried out by officials from the EU states to the region, especially the visit of Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari, whose country is currently presiding over the EU.
The reports added that the EU foreign ministers will voice their backing for the Middle East peace process during their meeting today with Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy.
