Saudi Korean economic relations highlighted
Saudi Arabia-South Korea, Economics, 10/9/1999

Saudi minister of trade Osama Jaafar Faqeh reviewed today with his Southern Korean counterpart in al-Riyadh areas of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and means of accelerating them.

During the meeting, the two ministers expressed their strong desire to benefit from all available privileges and potentials in their two countries to establish joint investment and production projects between the businessmen and to transfer modern technology and increase the volume of trade exchange. Worth mentioning that the volume of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Southern Korea reached in 1997 a sum of US $ 6871 million.

On the other hand, the Saudi Defence Minister Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz met also today with the Korean minister and his accompanying delegation. The Southern Korean minister hand over prince Sultan a message to King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz from President Kim Dai Jong of Southern Korea.
