First Islamic high school in Vienna

The First Islamic secondary school opened in Vienna on Friday, marking the start of the Austrian school year 1999-2000.
This school is the first of its kind in European regions where the German language is dominant.
The School's director, Ludwing Sommer, a non-Muslim, said 29 students are already attending the Islamic school.
The school offers, according to the director of the Islamic educational programs for children and Muslims within the Austrian communities.
School fees are $200 per month for every student.
Austria is the only European country which constitutionally acknowledges Islam as a religion since 1912.
