Spain grants loans to Tunisia, Yemen, Turkey

The Spanish Cabinet approved Friday Loans for Tunisia, Yemen and Turkey. Spokesman of the Spanish Cabinet and Minister of Industry Joseph Pique said Tunis will get two loans, the first one totalling $13,000 with a low annual interest of 0.7 % and a five year grace period.
The second loan to Tunisia totals $963,000 will finance a power generation project in the rural areas. It bears a 1% interest rate and a ten-year grace period.
He said Yemen will get $8.4 million US, while Turkey will get a $30 million loan to finance Spanish exports.
He said Spanish loans to other states included $2 million for China, $6.9 million for the Philippines, $19 million for Honduras, 2.7 million for Salvador and two million for the Dominican Republic, one million for Panama, five million for Ghana and eight million for the Cote D'Ivoire.
