Morocco, Rumania to sign economic convention

Morocco and Romania are to sign early next week a new convention on economic and technical cooperation.
The convention will be initialed on the sidelines of a three-day visit a Moroccan business delegation, led by the minister of industry, trade and handicraft, Alami Tazi, is to pay to Bucharest as of Sunday.
The delegation will hold an information meeting with Romanian economic operators and will attend the dedication ceremony of the Bucharest International Fair.
Trade exchange between Morocco and Rumania was worth $33.9 million last year, with Morocco's imports -- wood and wheat -- standing at $30 million. The kingdom's exports to the European country are mainly made of phosphates.
