Jordan adopts biggest religious assembly for peace

Jordanian sources said yesterday that, "600 representatives of the major religions in the world will convene during the coming November in Amman to call for ratifying peace in the coming millennium." The assembly will be convened on November 25 - 29 at an initiative from the international conference of religions and peace, located in New York. This organization, established in 1970, meets every five years for religious cooperation for peace.
