Alitalia resumes flights to Algeria

The Italian embassy in Algiers said on Friday that the Italian airline Alitalia will resume its flights to the Algerian capital as of November 1. In a statement the embassy added that the company will start its flights with two trips per week. The Italian airline suspended its flights to Algeria in 1994. It is the first airline company in the European Union to re-start its flights to Algeria.
