Youssoufi says African bid for 2006 is legitimate

Africa's repeated bid to host the final rounds of the World Soccer Cup of the year 2006 is legitimate, said thursday Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi meeting African reporters and former soccer stars. Youssoufi told the delegation visiting the kingdom at the invitation of the Morocco-2006 Association that if elected, Morocco, which can properly host the event, will set up an African commission to provide transportation, welcome, accommodation and access to soccer fields for young people from all over africa.

Morocco, South Africa, Brazil, Germany and England are in the race for the organization of the 2006 Cup.
