Formation of new Egyptian cabinet on Saturday

New Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid is to declare the complete formation of his Cabinet on Saturday morning, coinciding with the beginning of the fourth presidential term of President Hosni Mubarak.

ArabicNews.com learned that there are 11 ministers who will enter the cabinet for the first time, who were occupying positions as governors, professors, heads of governmental and public holding companies, and others with affiliations to the military.

This cabinet will continue implementing the policies of economic reform and privatization that started in 1988, especially as Ebeid was the minister of the public works sector which has been responsible for privatizing the Egyptian public companies during the last five years.
