Saudi Arabia-Iran, Politics, 10/7/1999
The chairman of the Iranian Shoura council, Nateq Nouri, is to make an official visit to Saudi Arabia next Sunday on top of an official delegation including several Cabinet ministers and high-ranking Iranian officials.
Iran's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Rida Nouri, said in a statement to the Saudi daily al-Riyadh published on Wednesday that the visit of the chairman of the Iranian Shoura council comes in the course of strengthening cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Iran and in reply to the official visit paid by the chairman of the Saudi Shoura council, Muhammad Bin Jubeir, to Tehran last year.
He added that the visit of Nateq Nouri to Saudi Arabia will last for six days, during which he will visit Riyadh and Madina and Mecca.
