Arab sports ministers meet to support Morocco world cup 2006 bid

The executive bureau of the Arab youth and sports ministerial council will convene Oct 21-23 in Rabat in support of Moroccan candidacy to host the World Cup soccer final rounds in the year 2006. Saudi Prince Sultan bin Fahd Ben Abd al-Aziz, likely to take over his deceased brother at the head of the Arab Football Union and the Arab Sports Union, told the Egyptian press Tuesday the Moroccan bid is a matter of pride for all Arab states and urged Arab federations to extend Morocco unconditional support.
