Moroccan Speaker in Tunisia

Visiting speaker of the Moroccan chamber of advisors (upper chamber of the parliament) Mohamed Jalal Essaid met in Tunis Tuesday with Tunisian Premier Hamed Karoui and Foreign Minister Said Ben Mostapha.
Both sides hailed ever-consolidating cooperation ties since last March's visit to Morocco of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, and called for further action to promote complementarity and consolidate the Arab Maghreb Union.
Essaid and his delegation also met with Tunisian peers led by speaker of the Tunisian house of representatives, Fouad M'bazaa, to tackle major bilateral issues and ways to enhance exchanges between legislative institutions.
