King Mohammed opens parliament session Friday

King Mohammed VI will open Friday the autumn session of the Moroccan parliament in keeping with article 40 of the Constitution. A joint press release by the two chambers of the parliament said the sovereign will chair the first session of the third legislative year of the houses of representatives and councilors.
This is the first session held under the reign of King Mohammed V who took over power after the passing away of his father, the late King Hassan II, last July.
