Abu Dhabi discusses the world's future

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan, minister of information and culture in the United Arab Emirates, is opening tomorrow morning the fifth annual conference of The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, which is to be convened in Abu Dhabi on October 9 - 11 under the title, "2000: The Making of the Future."
The conference will discuss during its three days 13 research projects tackling lots of issues and important points that form a special significance in predicting future trends, facing the challenges confronting humanity and their reflections on the world's economic structure, health, information, communication means, data, human rights, wars, the new world system and its nature.
