$386 million in exports of Egyptian industrial projects

The head of the Egyptian public organization for investment and free-trade zones, Ibrahim Fawzi, said exports of industrial projects from the free-trade zones to external markets reached $386 million during the first nine months of the current year, in comparison to $290 million for the same period of last year, an increase of 22%.
During the weekly meeting held yesterday for following up on work in the free-trade zones, Fawzi said the countries of the European market received the largest share of these exports, as exports of industrial projects in the free-trade zones to the European markets reached $149 million during the same period, an increase of 99% from the first nine months of last year.
