2.273 million in Kuwait's census

The Kuwaiti minister of state for planning and administrative development, Mohammed El-Dowihis, said Kuwait's population reached 2.273 million, including 792,000 Kuwaitis and 1.475 million non-Kuwaiti citizens, a ratio that reaches nearly 35% Kuwaiti citizens and 65% non-Kuwaitis.
In a statement today he said the number of Kuwaiti males reaches near 399,000, while the number of Kuwaiti females reaches nar 403,000, adding that 70% of Kuwaiti citizens are less than 29 years old.
