Levy takes part in Palestinian government donor countries' conference
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 10/6/1999
It was announced in Tel Aviv on Tuesday that the Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy will head for Tokyo to take part in a meeting of the donor countries to the Palestinian government, due to be held next Friday.
In a speech he delivered during the session of the Israeli Cabinet, quoted by Israel Radio, Levy expressed his hope that the conference will not be converted into what he called a "forum" to address criticism to Israel.
Earlier, Levy met with the Japanese ambassador in Tel Aviv and discussed with him matters pertaining to the conference.
