Concern over delay in the formation of Algerian government

Algerian party sources said that "the fourfold coalition parties, which support president Abdel Aziz Boutaflika have drafted to the president a list of its party elements' names for candidacy for ministerial posts within the expected new governmental formation."

In its statement yesterday, these sources said that the lists includes 15 names presented by National liberation front party (Al-Aflan), 8 names from peace society 'movement Hamas', 4 names from Democratic National assemblage (Al-Arndi) and 'Al-Nahda' movement.

There is worry and expectation in these parties as a result of the delay in the formation of the new government. On the other hand, knowledgeable sources stated that a committee at the presidential level was formed to study a number of vital files on the level of the internal works such as modification of the constitution and revision of the parties law and inserting modification in the draft resolution of municipality and state.
