Egyptian - Libyan talks

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa met Ali al-Treaki, the secretary - assistant for the African affairs in the general committee for the foreign communication and international cooperation in Libya.
Following the meeting, al-Treaki said that "the African causes have been discussed generally - and also what concerns with the executive steps of the Sert declaration concerning the African union, pointing out that there is complete coordination between Egyptian and Libya" as this comes in the frame of the complete agreement between President Hosni Mubarak and Colonel Moammar Gaddafi.
He added that Arab - African cooperation was discussed as well as bilateral relationships and the means of its enhancement and development in the different fields.
He also stated that the Egyptian - Libyan initiative for achieving the national rapport in Sudan "was discussed and we agreed upon the necessity of supporting this initiative" pointing out that this initiative has the acceptance and approval of the Sudanese government and the opposition, adding that the coming period will witnesses the implementation of the steps upon which there is agreement between Egypt and Libya concerning this affair.
