Mubarak starts fourth term
Egypt, Politics, 10/5/1999

President Hosni Mubarak started the fourth term of his presidency after the people's assembly (the parliament) ratified the results of the elections where he was met with great reception by the chairman of the parliament, members, ministers, and other officials.

On the other hand, President Mubarak is due to issue tonight a decision on forming the government with which the Egyptians will enter the new century.

Egyptian sources expected that the ministerial shuffle will include 12 miniseries but it excludes the sovereign ministers headed by Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, who has the respect and trust of the Egyptian people, the Minister of Interior who succeeded in stopping terrorism, Minister of Defense Admiral Hussein Tantawi, and the Minister of Information who is considered the nearest minister in the current government to the personality of the president.
