Syrian FM undergoes urgent heart surgery

The Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss today visited the Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa in Beirut and expressed for him best wishes for a quick recovery in the name of the name of the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud and his own name. Medical sources in Beirut said that al-Sharaa was admitted to hospital earlier in the day after he had heart problem, noting that al-Sharaa is still receiving treatment and he is in a critical condition., Meanwhile, Al-Jazira TV reported that heart surgery was done successfully.
