Iran for fair trials for Iranian Jews
Iran, Politics, 10/4/1999
The Iranian President Muhammad Khatami has announced that the Iranian Jews who are currently suspended under charges of spying for Israel " should be tried fairly and released in case they are found not guilty."
In a seminar organized about women, Khatami said the government is not the side which decided, rather the convicted should be presented before the court, which determines the crimes they are accused for. Khatami added if the said Jews are found guilty, the court will decide and if not they will be not found guilty.
