Explosive charge went off in Beirut

An explosive charge went off on Sunday at noon inside Mar Jerjus (Saint George) church in al-Dekwaneh in the Eastern Suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Lebanese security sources said that the explosive was placed inside a small leather bag in one of the church's corners.
The sources added that after the people who performed the prayers inside the church left, the clergy responsible for it, Shafiq Rajha, tried to open the bag, but it exploded, and he was killed immediately.
Investigation sources indicated that the explosive was a hand grenade.
