King Abdullah confers with Italian army's chief of staff

Jordan's King Abdullah II met on Sunday in Amman with the Italian Army's chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Mario Arpino.
The two sides reviewed relations between Jordan and Italy and areas of cooperation between the two countries, especially in defense matters and exchanging joint expertise and training.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian Army's chief of staff also met on Sunday in Amman with his Italian counterpart. Talks dealt with the development of conditions in the region in general, fields of bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual concern.
