Report: Lebanese security department chief to visit France

The French news bulletin Top Urgent released in Paris on Friday said the chief of the Lebanese security department, Lt. Gen. Jamil al-Sayyed, will visit France for the second time at the end of this year, after he visited it for five days last week. Lt. Gen. Al-Sayyed discussed with officials at the French Ministry of the Interior and officials concerned means of establishing mechanisms for cooperation and the exchange of information, as well as the conditions of the Palestinians in Lebanon. The two sides agreed to train Lebanese security cadres in France.
