Egyptian ambassador to Israel: Speedy agreement between Syria and Israel if negotiations are resumed

Mohammed Bassyouni, the Egyptian ambassador to Israel, stated that, "A speedy agreement on the Syrian track will be reached in case of resuming the negotiations between the two parties."
Meanwhile, Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid warned against placing too much hope in the resumption of negotiations between Israel and Syrian and its results.
In his press statements, Abdul Meguid said, "These negotiations, in case of their resumption, well be difficult."
