Democratic Front denies knowing of request for Hawatemah's return to Palestinian lands

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine denied knowing about the request presented by the Palestinian Authority to the Israeli government to bring back DFLP Secretary General Nayef Hawatemah to the Palestinian territories.
Ali Bedwan, a member of the political bureau in the front, said, "The front's leadership is currently discussing saving the Palestinian stance from dissention and preparing the atmosphere for the stage of the final status negotiations."
Israel Radio said the Palestinian Authority asked Israel to agree on Hawatemah's return to the Palestinian lands and that this request is currently being examined.
