Syrian vice president confers with Chilean Senate delegation

Syrian Vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam on Thursday received a member of Chile's Senate, Sergio Bitar, who is also the chairman of the Party for Democracy in Chile. Talks dealt with conditions in the region and the conditions of Syrian expatriates and Chileans of Syrian descent in Chile.
