Baghdad opposes UN Security Council's way of thinking

Iraqi Foreign Minister Muhammad Said al-Sahaf has refused the proposed way of suspending sanctions on Iraq, saying that "Baghdad refuses the way the UN Security Council members think of."
In a statement to the London-based al-Hayat daily on Thursday, the Iraqi foreign minister added that Iraq is not against the return of the inspections, "but the UN Security Council has to carry out what they should after we fulfilled all what we had to, and we will not accept new conditions."
Concerning the issue of the Kuwaiti prisoners, al-Sahaf said Iraq has initiatives to decide on this file. He indicated proposals to set up a Gulf or Arab - international committee to put an end to this matter.
