Opening of secure passage between Gaza and Hebron on Sunday

The secure passage which will connect the Gaza Strip and Tarkomia, near Hebron, is due to be opened on Sunday, two days after its original due date according to the Sharm El-Sheikh accord.

Palestinian sources told ArabicNews.com that some issues are still unresloved between the Palestinians and Israelis concerning the secure passage and its work, adding that the Palestinians will be able to move from the West Bank and the Gaza Strip through the passage.

They added that the passage will be open throughout the year, except for three days which are holidays for the two parties. It will also be used to transport individuals from Beit Hanoun barrier and goods from Kari passage.
