Hamas denies receiving invitation to participate in discussions with Palestinian government

The Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, denied receiving any official invitation from the Palestinian government to hold a discussion between Hamas and Fatah similar to the the national discussions that took place between Fatah and the Democratic and People's Fronts for the Liberation of Palestine in Cairo and Amman.
Ismail Hanyeh, one of the movement's leaders, said yesterday in press statements, "Hamas is not against the discussion and it considers it a civilized way" that is supposed to unify the Palestinian people at this juncture in time.
