Annan recommends UNIKOM extension

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan recommended the continuation of the United Nations Iraq-Kuwait Observer Mission (UNIKOM) on the border between Iraq and Kuwait. UNIKOM's budget will be a topic on the schedule of the UN fifth committee on October 4.
