Egypt, Culture, 9/29/1999
A 3,000 year-old carved-rock tomb was found by an Egyptian team in Abu-Seir, Giza. The team also found 9 limestone columns, the walls of another tomb, a large statuette of the god Hit-Hor in the form of a cow, pot and alabaster pieces and a bust of goddess Hit-Hor as a human. "The tomb was found adjacent to the tomb of King Nakht-Min of the 19th Dynasty," Mohamed Al-Saghir, Head of Egyptian Antiquities Sector at the Supreme Council for Antiquities, said.
