Jobless graduates appeal to King Mohammed to settle their problem
Morocco, Economics, 9/29/1999
Jobless Moroccan doctors and engineers appealed Monday to King Mohammed VI to intervene so that they be integrated in the working life.
In a letter to the king, the jobless graduates appealed on the king to bestow on them his high solicitude.
Moroccan Interior Minister Driss Basri had promised last February to refer the grievances of the jobless to his colleagues in the Cabinet so that they can contribute to meeting them.
According to official figures, joblessness among university graduates amounts to 54% in some specialties.
