Violence continues in Algeria

The Algerian daily al-Aseel said on Tuesday that nine citizens were wounded following a bomb explosion in al-Meleih city in the Jijel district. The paper added that a police officer was killed near a gas station on the road leading to Tebessa and al-Hammamat.
The paper added one armed group member surrendered himself to the security forces in Steif province under the provisions of the civil reconciliation law.
