Discussing activating Egyptian- Libyan initiative for national reconciliation in Sudan

Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Sudanese Affairs Fouad Youssif held a meeting with Gomaa El-Gazali the secretary general of the Libyan Arab follow-up bureau in Cairo and Ahmed Abdel-Haliem, the Sudanese ambassador to Egypt.

Following the meeting, El-Gazali said, "This meeting comes in light of the coordination and consultation among Egypt, Sudan, and Libya to activate the mechanisms of work in light of the Egyptian- Libyan joint initiative to achieve national reconciliation in Sudan and implement all the agreed-upon issues during the coming month.

In his replies to reporters' questions, the secretary general of the Libyan Arab follow-up bureau added that bilateral relations between Egypt and Libya as well as all the joint issues concerning the two states were discussed during the meeting.
