Tunis delays final date for selling commercial center
Tunisia, Business, 9/28/1999
Tunisian economic sources said yesterday that Tunis delayed until October 30 the sale of a 41.6% share of the capital for a shopping center named Tunis Center.
September 10 was determined as the final date for presenting purchase offers to the Ministry of Economic Development, responsible for the privatization program.
Sources in the Tunisian stock market said attempts last year failed to sell 20% of the center in the Tunisian market and present 20,000 of the company's shares to sell at a cost of 268 dinars per share.
The company, which owns a trade center in mid-Tunis, has a capital of 10 million dinars ($8.4 million).
