Abdul Meguid denies Arab league communications with Israel

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid denied yesterday that communications took place between Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy and the Arab League regarding reaching an understanding concerning the Israeli exhibition at Disneyland, emphasizing that the agreement reached at with the Walt Disney Company is eliminating all references to Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Abdul Meguid urged the Arab foreign ministers to convene a meeting on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly's meetings in New York to discuss Disney's exhibition last week after the fraud made by a Disney official to the Arab League on September 10 before the foreign ministers' meeting in Damascus to avoid a boycott against Disney.
