Israeli Foreign Ministry: Jerusalem still Israel's capital in Disney fair
Regional-Israel, Politics, 9/27/1999

The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued yesterday a statement saying that its wing in a Walt Disney Compaby exhibition includes signs that Jerusalem is Israel's capital.

The statement said any persons who visit the fair in coming week will never doubt that Jerusalem will remain Israel's capital.

The statement alleged that the Arab League agreed on settling the issue and refraining from threatening to boycott Disney after a meeting took place in New York that included Israeli Foreign Minister David Levy before the meeting of Arab foreign ministers under the chairmanship of Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid to discuss this case on Saturday.

The statement added that Israel is sure that Disney will respect its pledges, without clarifying what those pledges are.
