Israeli paper calls for restoring the Golan

The Israeli daily Jerusalem Post called in its Sunday issue on the Israeli government to hand over the whole of the occupied Syrian Golan Heights to Syria in order to achieve peace with it.
In an article about the Middle East peace process, the paper said, "Israel cannot eat the cake and keep it at the same time, and the whole of the Golan should be returned."
The Israeli paper said there is no other way to achieve peace, and any person who believes contrary to that is misled and that the option is clear. It is either peace or the Golan. The paper indicated that the majority of the Israelis prefer peace.
