Discussions to resume between Fatah, People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine
Palestine, Politics, 9/25/1999
The spokesman of the opposition People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine said today that the talks between the PFLP and the Fatah movement under the chairmanship of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat will be resumed in the Jordanian capital Amman during the current week.
Talks between the PFLP and Fatah started in Cairo in last August for the first time since the ratification of the Oslo accord in 1993.
The front's delegation was headed by its assistant secretary general, Abu Ali Mustafa.
Palestinian opposition sources said that, "Pressures are practiced on the front in order to make a progress with the Fatah," saying that the USA pressures Syria to exclude these movements which exist in its lands.
