16 offers to establish Egyptian Ras Sedr airport

The general organization for Egyptian aviation received 16 offers to establish Ras Sedr airport in southern Sinai on the BOT (build - operate - transfer) system.
The winner offer will the announced on October 2, Mamdouh Heshmat, head of the airport sector in the organization told ArabicNews.com today.
This airport is to serve 35 tourist villages in the area, which will add 9,000 hotel rooms to its current capacity on the Red Sea with investments reaching LE 2 billion and providing more than 350,000 job opportunities.
