Iraq declares readiness to start a discussion with the Arab states

The undersecretary of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, Nabeel Negm, stated that Iraq is ready to talk with all the Arab states in order to discuss the halted problems, adding that Iraq is ready for a constructive discussion with all the Arab states.

In statements to ArabicNews.com Negm said, "Iraq does not need to ask this support from his brothers, because it is a matter of must, because Iraq and its people are an important part and a major pillar of the Arab nation's. Therefore, the Arab brothers are asked to present support to Iraq in his fair demand to lift up the siege."

Iraq opposed the Dutch - UK project for UN sanctions changes and described it as being vicious and turning Baghdad to a colony affiliated to the UN.
