Arab radio, television festival starts 9th round in Tunis

The Arab Radio and Television Festival will start its ninth round here this Saturday.

Director General of the Arab Radios Union Abdelhafez Al-Herqam said at a news conference here that 21 Arab Radio and Television bodies would take part in the festival, besides 50 Television and Radio stations and Arab private production companies.

He added that nearly 90 Television and Radio programs would be presented during the festival.

He said the festival would also present a seminar over Arab Television drama on the threshold of the 21st century.

Al-Herqam pointed out that participants would discuss the conditions of the Arab Television drama besides the Arab characteristic in the Television drama Direction.
