Referendum on renewing President Mubarak's presidency

400,000 Egyptian citizens are heading tomorrow to election boxes to vote in the election for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, who has no rival in these elections.

President Mubarak directed an address to the Egyptian people last night, in which he urged them to voting yes or no to put Egypt in its proper position in the world of tomorrow.

Mubarak said, "With the approach of the 21st century, we had to start taking the necessary steps for ratifying a comprehensive national program to achieve a renaissance in all sectors," and that, "We are before the challenges that needs every citizen's efforts; therefore the nation needs his vote in the referendum tomorrow, confirming that people will say their word."
